The Ladbrokes Sunshine Stars Yearling Sale, the sale that brought out the star racemare Cool And Classy, is poised to unleash a fresh wave of stars at Albion Park on Sunday, February 22.

Conducted by Nutrien Equine and hosted by the Albion Park Harness Racing Club, the catalogue has listed 68 superbly bred yearlings by the world’s leading sires from the best families in Australia and New Zealand.

Sires represented at the sale include the Top Ten stallions Sweet Lou, Art Major, Bettor’s Delight, Always B Miki, American Ideal, Captaintreacherous, Downbytheseaside and A Rocknroll Dance and emerging young sires such as Cattlewash, Bettor’s Wish, Captain Crunch, Stay Hungry, Tall Dark Stranger, The Storm Inside, King Of Swing, Huntsville, Capt Midnight and Classic Connection.

One of the features of the sale is the first crop of the North America Cup and Breeders Crown winner Pebble Beach, the fast Captaintreacherous import Catch The Fire and the USA 2YO Trotting Colt of the Year King Of The North.

Among the offering are siblings to the Group or Listed winners Expensive Ego, Speak The Truth, Tardelli, Tin Tin Jo, Talent To Spare, Chamonix, More Sass, Namaka, Corporal Luna, Chicago Bart, Beachbabe Crocker, Art’s Treasure, Bettor Cullect and Perspective and the trotters Always Ready, Love Gun, Victree Hill, Ajay Volstead and Kincaslough.

Star racemares with their first progeny include the QBred Triad winners Cat King Cole and Jasper, the Albion Park winners Scene Of Terror and Quick Step NZ and the Menangle victor Bella Bling.
