NSW: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Restrictions

Stay-at-Home Orders- Orange City Council, Blayney Shire Council, and Cabonne Shire Council areas.

From 12.01am today until 12.01am on Wednesday 28 July 2021, the NSW Government has introduced new restrictions in relation to the Orange City Council, Blayney Shire Council, and Cabonne Shire Council areas.

Consequently, HRNSW advises the following:

  • Licensed participants who reside in any of those Council areas are unable to attend any race meeting or trials;
  • Any person who resides in any of those Council areas who works at a harness racecourse is not permitted to attend;
  • Any licensed participant engaged at a race meeting who is required to travel through any of those Council areas must do so without stopping in any of those Council areas;
  • Licensed participants located within those Council areas are able to attend to their horses within those Council areas on animal welfare grounds, which includes the feeding and exercising of horses;
  • Nominations for the Dubbo race meeting scheduled for Friday 23 July 2021 will not be accepted from any Trainer located within any of the Council areas;
  • Nominations for the Bathurst race meeting scheduled for Wednesday 28 July 2021 WILL be taken from Trainers located within those Council areas – if the NSW Government restrictions are extended, these horses may be withdrawn;
  • Nominations for other meetings scheduled after Wednesday 28 July 2021 WILL be taken from Trainers located within those Council areas – if the NSW Government restrictions are extended, these horses may be withdrawn.
